Sergey Mayzus

President & CEO

Our Captain received a Bachelors Degree from the Baltic Fishing Fleet State Academy in 1997. Being an avid computer programmer since the age of 14 his choice of career did not involve the high seas but rather the Information Superhighways. His passion soon brought him in developing financial software for financial analysts.
Being introduced to the world of finance - Economics and Business became his new passion. He decides to be certified by the Federal Financial Service of Russia with Level 1,4,5 Certificates. He became an experienced financial markets specialist and consultant and thus decided to create his own company, namely the world renowned Liteforex.
The company he created revolutionized the ForEx industry due to his new and fresh vision. He introduced trading conditions that no other company ever thought of offering to its clients before, rocketing its client’s portfolio into the hundreds of thousands.
Sergey’s restless spirit drove him to the creation of United World Capital, a superior service Regulated ForEx company with a new vision to be both virtually (Online) and physically present to all countries in the world.

He lives between Limassol Cyprus - United World Capital’s Headquarters and his home city Guryevsk, Kaliningrad, were he is the elected Lord Mayor and Head of the Deputy Board. He is the founder and major shareholder of a number of other businesses ranging from media to construction and development.

Arne Treholt

Vice President and Business Development Director

Our Vice President began his career as a Journalist and foreign correspondent, of Arbeiderbladet newspaper in Oslo. He then joined the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he soon rose to the position of Political secretary to the Minister of Shipping and Foreign Trade, he then moved on as Deputy Minister of Law of the Sea. He has held positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Counselor for economic development and social affairs and was part of the Norwegian Mission to the United Nations, New York.

He retired from his diplomatic career and moved to Moscow as CEO of ISMOS. Then Mr Treholt moved to Cyprus in the position of CEO of Rim Investment Management and FMC Securities. He joined UWC in June 2009, as Vice President. He is also in charge of the business development and portfolio asset management of the company. He is the author of 5 books and numerous articles on economics and politics.

Jamal Fakhory

Managing Director

A trained and experienced legal practitioner Mr Jamal Fakhory draws from his experience as a trained lawyer from the Government University of Kiev - Faculty of International Relations / International law institute.

He is the holder of a Major in General International Law and Private International Law, with Specialization in State Administration and Law.

Mr Fakhory has held important positions as Managing Director of Straighthold Headquarters, renowned for its activities in the financial markets. Being one of the founding member of United World Capital, Mr Fakhory has taken on the Management of the company since the first day of its creation.

Dmitry Petrenko

Head of Reception and Transmission Department

Mr Petrenko, graduated from the mathematical faculty of Kaliningrad State University of I. Kant, and had been granted certification of FFMS (Federal Financial Markets Service), as well as the Cyprus Ministry of Finance certificates for "Reception and transmission" and "Dealing on own account". He began his career as client support in in LiteForex from 2006. He soon became chief of his department then headed LiteForex in Russia. He then joined United World Capital as Head of Reception and transmission department.

Veronika Podolskaya

Head of Back Office Department

Veronika’s Multilanguage and business studies granted her the position of Head of Back office of United World Capital. She is responsible in receiving all applications from traders and ensuring they comply with the regulations which United World Capital abides before they are granted the permission to trade. Veronika Podolskaya has studied in Cyprus at the Frederick Institute of Technology (Business department) which she graduated in 2004. She has also worked as an Interpreter and teacher of foreign languages.

Abdo Saliba

Head of Support Department

Mr Abdo Saliba began his career after completing his studies in Business Administration at the private French university of BEIRUT in 1986, as a Political and onsite war accidents reporter, for DAR ASSAYAD publishing house.

He was then offered the opportunity to join one of the biggest Marketing teams of the Middle East, namely the British group of "TOBACCO EXPORTERS INT'L". His main duties were to promote high Brand names like ROTHMANS, DUNHILL, CARTIER and many others, in all the Middle East MARKET.

He then relocated to the Gulf region, where he became Customers Relationship Manager, for an International exhibitions and events company.

He joined United World Capital in 2009 in charge of the Support Department, amongst his responsibilities is liaising the company’s departments with Client's requests and ensuring the standards of service United World Capital is renowned for.

Simon Attard

Back Office Assistant
Head of Transportation Department

Trained as a pilot Mr Simon Attard has been working within the aviation industry for 8 years within various operations departments at Malta International Airport, initially as a Check In agent with Air Malta and then as Load Control, Flight Dispatch, Operations and I.T. Administration with Servisair Globeground. He is a certified commercial pilot with an ATPL (Airline Transport Pilots License). He joined United World Capital recently as Head of Transport Department and as a Pilot for our own private aircraft.

Margarita Toropova-Syrenskaya

Sales Manager

Margarita graduated in management and economics of North-West Academy of Public Administration. In 2007 she pursued her studies in France and attended the "SciencesPo" Institute (politics specialization). Ms Toropova-Syrenskaya has worked as an Interpreter in Barcelona (Spain) as well as in different theme conferences. She worked in LiteForex from 2008 as an international manager of Saint-Petersburg branch of company. Since 2010 she works for the sales department of UWC, forming sales campaigns and organizing sales company process.
